How do I register my child?

Children can be registered several ways. Applications are available on this website, at one of our current locations, via email/fax, and/or by visiting our main office.

What is included with the fees?

Services to be provided as part of the fee include direct supervision to youth Monday to Friday, homework assistance/educational enrichment, and a daily snack.

Where do you operate from?

For the past 20 years, YACG’s predecessors have been operated by Ms. Gloria Navas-Stuhl in the public school buildings for safety and family accessibility. With the continuous collaboration and partnership from the Philadelphia school district’s administrators, principals, and teachers, we look forward to serving families and their children in the school district of Philadelphia buildings.

Can children from outside neighboring schools attend the after school program?

Yes, all children are welcome.

What are the hours of operation and when do you close?

YACG is available on site for AM morning care from 7:15 am till 8:30 am. PM care is available upon school dismissal from approximately 2:45 pm till 5:45 pm to include Early Dismissals. YACG is closed when school is closed to include Winter and Spring recess along with emergency inclement weather closings.

What is the cost?

Registration fee is non-refundable = $35 per child

  • Average AM morning care and PM afternoon care = $320 monthly per child
  • Average AM morning care = $160
  • Average PM afternoon care = $180 monthly per child

What will my child do?

Under a safe and supervised environment, your child will be guided daily to complete homework assignments, including book reports and projects. Project Based Learning is a curriculum embraced by youth. Your child will also participate in indoor/outdoor recreational and academic activities, as well as field trips outside the neighborhood.

Do you accept child care subsidy from other agencies?

Yes, YACG welcomes subsidized families assisted by Child Care Information Services (CCIS). Please confirm with US about your financial status upon registration. We are here to assist you.

Do you have scholarships available?

Yes, scholarships are available, but limited. Please ask upon registration.

Is Summer Camp part of your programming?

Yes, approximately 7 weeks. Summer Camp site(s) may vary.

Do you provide transportation?

No, unfortunately we are unable to provide transportation.
